Sunlight seeping through leaves just beginning to bloom
A small breeze makes the shadows dance upon my skin
Back pressed up again his soft, warm chest
Hand tracing his jaw line softly
His eyes reach mine slowly
Those deep, dark brown eyes
Just looking at them makes me smile,
Makes the butterflies flutter in my stomach
Drawling his attention away from the children,
He looks down at me, a smile spreads across his lips
Lips so red like a cherry freshly picked
I never get tired of the warm, sweet taste
Reaching up he holds my hand against his cheek
Captivated in his gaze, eyes locked on his
The amazing face of an angel is what I see
Lowering his face just inches away from mine,
Cheeks still go red after all this time
His breathing is slow and calm unlike my heart
I hear it pounding in my ears but he doesn't notice
Moving even closer, out noses touch now
His breathing becomes uneven,
Matching my attempts at breathing evenly
Closing my eyes, he lays his forehead on mine
In the background I hear laughter, birds singing their song
A smile forms on my lips as my eyes open to the sight of his face
Those dark circles looking down on my softly,
Following my every move
Slowly I move my other hand to his face,
Putting it on the other side
His arms lock around me tightly, afraid I'll try to move away
Looking into each others eyes, I see happiness
The sunlight his his face perfectly, making him glow
A butterfly above his head fluttering about
Not nearly as quickly as the ones inside my chest
Looking back at him, our eyes met once more
This time there's no hesitation,
He moves in so there's no space between us
Our lips met in a soft tender kiss, everything else fades away
All I hear is our breathing and my heart beat like mad
Wrapping my arms around his neck, he holds my waist
Nothing could be more perfect then this very moment
His lips are warm and inviting, taste so sweet this spring morning
I never want his lips to leave mine but I know they will
Pulling away slowly, my eyes open to his smile
There's no doubt in my mind, he's happy
The way he's smiling and wont stop looking at me,
I know he's in love
Leaves spin around us but we pay them no mind
Nothing captivates me like his eyes and wonderful smile
I hear footsteps coming towards, we both look up slowly
Running full speed is the children and dog
They both come jumping in my lap
Hair wind blown, and skin covered in dirt
I still find them the cutest things on the planet
Looking up at him, I find his eyes watching them lovingly
Smile on my face, I hold them close to me
My favorite place to be is right here with my family
