You haunt me like a rainy day.
Kill me slowly with only a look.
Make me cry over what you did.
I didn't know it was possible to cry this much.

You used to wipe my tears away.
Now you only cause my tears.
Only cause me pain.
Bring back the memories.
Even though you don't speak.

Those eyes penetrate my heart.
My shattered, breaking heart.
Though if you did speak...
I have a feeling I'd shatter as well.

Now all I have are washed up photos.
And writing that has faded.
But I'm sure you never thing about this.
Any of it.

How your words piece me.
Right through my skin, straight to my heart.
Just keep telling me you have it all.
And I'll keep telling you to hold on.

I'm scared maybe the things you said weren't true.
But it doesn't matter.
Because even though I'm holding on,
I'm slipping away piece by piece.
And soon I'll be gone.
Out of reach and beyond repair.
